What happens if my dog poops on it?
Perfect! We recommend cleaning off the poop first then cleaning the area with dish soap or other cleaning products such as white vinegar, baking soda, etc, then placing your DoggyPad in the washing machine!
Note: Make sure you don't use bleach or any fabric softener as it can affect the absorbency of the DoggyPad.
How do I wash the DoggyPad?
Insert laundry detergent (no bleach) and wash on a regular cycle with warm water. Then put your DoggyPad in the dryer & use medium heat or you can air dry your DoggyPad.
Will my dog be able to chew up the DoggyPad?
The DoggyPad is designed to be chew resistant. You will notice that it is much more resilient to frequent chewing than other pads out there, especially disposable pads.
How do I get my dog to use the DoggyPad?
The soft & comfy material help attract your dog to the DoggyPad but some training is required for your dog to know how to use the DoggyPad. There are various methods to train your dog to use the pads.
The most common method is to anticipate when your dog will need to potty (normally 5-20 minutes after a meal) and place them on the pad when they need to go. After they do their business on the pad successfully, reward them with a treat and use positive verbal cues.
It's best to keep the pad in an area where your dog will be comfortable. After a couple of times, your dog should know how to use the pad all by themselves!
Can I put the DoggyPad in a dryer?
Absolutely! Dry on medium to low heat.
