At the level of thickness is minimal and the truth, without being spectacular, I don't know how it gets her to feel anything fresher. But if your pet is thrown on the blanket on the floor, it's like lying on the floor. My two small dogs love these. They are cool to the touch and the fabric feels comfortable. I just wished it hadn't taken so long to deliver. With my nightsweats, i could use one myself.

We were skeptical about this...but we have a very active black cat, no central air in the apartment, and it's summer... So, we ordered the 28"x22" mat. The package arrived within the prescribed time (the estimated delivery date is pretty accurate)...and we have been pleasantly surprised! It's definitely cooler than the ambient air temp, and our little guy cools off on it all the time...you can even use it in your cat's favorite basket or bin, with no issue. Definitely worth every penny for the peace of mind it gives me, knowing he has it! I have washed it on gentle (low/no agitation), wrung it out gently, and hung it to dry with no problem.

Love the mat. It does what it is supposed to do. I wish it wasn’t so expensive, I would’ve bought two. So if it gets soiled, I can use the other while cleaning.
